HUGS USA Event @ St. Thomas

35 Adams Place, Delmar, NY | Join us at St. Thomas for this special HUGS event. We will celebrate Mass at 5pm then continue to the school at 6pm for a crock pot dinner and gathering to create Christmas gift bags for our homeless neighbors in the area. Last year, our gift bags were distributed to the Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, St. Paul’s Center, The Albany Mission and Equinox.

If your youth group is interested in participating, it would be wonderful if they could collect the following items a couple weeks prior to the event: hats, underwear or fleece throws, gloves and socks. During the event, we will decorate bags and fill them with the donated gifts. Representatives from HUGS USA will share more about our work. This is a wonderful opportunity for our young people to pray, serve and have fun together! It’s a family event, so all parents are welcome to join.
